Who are we?

Like a phoenix, rising from the ashes, Willem Christiaan Events was born out of the devastation left behind by COVID-19. It created the room for someone who is willing to go the extra mile in order to see nothing but smiles on the faces of their clients.

I’m Willem Oosthuizen. I’m passionate about seeing people’s dreams come to life and I love bringing people together. The expression of joy in a social gathering is one of life’s great treasures. Every part of your special celebration is just another step in our amazing journey together. We’ll shape your event as we get to know each other.

My aesthetic is trendy yet elegant, with great attention to detail and purpose behind every design decision. I love using natural materials with earthy and rustic appeal, but I also enjoy adding glam and gloss where necessary. In my designs, I work with what’s in season and combine that with what’s functional and beautiful at the same time. Let your event be unforgettable with the hues and movement of amazing lighting.

I’m here to walk my clients through planning and design from conception to conclusion. No detail is too big or too small to handle. I love getting to know our clients and each design is a unique reflection of the client’s personality. The entire process is one-of-a-kind, as no two events are alike.
